Boiled Maa Ki Dal
Maa ki Dal or black gram is very popular in India and largely used to make dal from the whole or split, dehusked seeds. On being boiled, it has a thick buttery texture. Like most of the pulses, this one is nutritious and is recommended for diabetics. It is very popular in the Indian-punjabi cuisine, as the key ingredient of a delicious, buttery dish called Dal makhani.
